The Shlomo Carlebach Kiddush Cup and Charity Box by Neshama Carlebach and Jonathan Greenstein
As a legacy to his late Rebbe and as an honor to her father, Jonathan and Neshama teamed up to co-design two objects in his honor.
The first one, a sterling silver kiddush cup, has a rounded base. This was done to show Reb’ Shlomo’s giving nature as once filled, the cup can’t be put down until it’s finished being passed around from hand to hand, each recipient taking part in drinking.
The sterling silver charity box is modeled after Reb’ Shlomo’s burial tomb in Jerusalem. Any loyal “chossid” of Reb’ Shlomo makes a stop at this holy spot each time in Israel.
